Seniors can get free income tax assistance beginning today at the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave. Volunteers trained by the Internal Revenue Service will be at the center from 12:30 to 2 p.m. through April 8 to assist low- and moderate-income seniors. The tax assistance program is sponsored by the American Assn. of Retired Persons, the IRS and the state Franchise Tax Board. For appointments: (714) 738-6305.
